We do issue burning permits to residents within our fire coverage area. See the burning information page for the requirements.
Can my group (Boy Scouts, School, Church Group, etc.) take a tour of the fire department?
Sure! We are happy to provide tours of the fire department to local organizations. Please contact us well in advance to ensure that we are available and have staff available.
How do I join the department to become a firefighter or EMT?
Complete our membership application and stop in to the station. We will go through the membership requirements and expectations with you. Contact us with any questions.
How can I help the fire department if I don’t want to become a firefighter or EMT?
SBFD is always looking for people who can help with various tasks around the station, community events, or with special tasks. Please contact us if you are interested in assisting the fire department.
Can I make a donation to the fire department?
We appreciate donations of cash that will be put toward our special equipment fund. These donations can be made to the Stone Bank Fire & EMS Association, a non-profit organization assisting local fire departments. In addition, we also may accept donations of homes and vehicles to be used for training drills. Please contact us for more information.
